Our Veterans Day salute for 2021 is to Otis F. Brown, Jr. Otis is a ground flight instructor at the USNA. He is a 2nd Class Midshipman and is President of the Fixed Wing Aviation Training Club at the Unite States Naval Academy.

Current VT-NA Training Officer
Family Ties: Otis Brown is following in his families footsteps. Three generations of his family, his grandfathers and great-grandfather all served in the United State military.
Above is a photo from the 2 for 7 signing. The midshipmen agreed to spend 2 more years at the Naval Academy and 5 more years of service post graduation.
Otis F. Brown, Jr. is the nephew of Winchester residents Duey & Helen Jett.

Midshipman Otis F. Brown, Jr. became Ensign Otis F. Brown, Jr. an officer in the United States Navy. The incredible challenges he faced, and the obstacles he overcame, in the process of graduating with an Engineering degree from the US Nava Academy have given him an incredible testimony he will be able to share for the rest of his life. All praises to Jesus Christ for giving him, and our family, everything we all needed to see Otis realize one of his dreams. Congratulations Otis, Jr. Stay strong. Stay the course
